Fire Clay and High Alumina Bricks

Fire clay is a range of refractory clays that are used for the manufacture of fire bricks ceramics. Fire clay and High alumina bricks are made of supreme quality for refractory purposes. These strong and light weight bricks are used in various industries because of their strength and high temperature opposing properties.

Fire clay and High alumina bricks

These bricks are vastly sought, appreciated and accepted for their longer life, high resistance to temperature, and quality furnishing.

Material used in production:

Fire clay and High alumina bricks are produced with some quality raw material, that is, select bauxite chamotte that is heated at above 1450 degree Celsius implementing advanced processes with strict quality control.

Use of High Alumina Bricks:

High Alumina bricks are very much resistant to variable temperature. This makes it stand strong and counted as a liable product for use at chemical refineries, Metallurgical processes, cement and mining industries.

There are many manufacturers of high alumina bricks around the world who produce and market it at competitive rates. Usage of high alumina bricks helps your infrastructure for the long run. Its usage cannot be ignored.

Magnesite Bricks:

Magnesite bricks are highly specialized bricks used in various industries because of their strength and heat resistant properties. It is a naturally occurring mineral having a chemical formula of MgCO3. Upon burning, it produces MgO which is a refractory material.

It is used to make magnesite bricks that are deployed in the form of lining in hearth furnaces and kilns, and explosion furnaces.

Raw Material used in the production of Magnesite Bricks:

The magnesite used in the manufacturing of MgO bricks shall contain minimum 96% MgO and and SiO2 shall be within 3%. Fused magnesite shall form 50% or more in the total quantity of magnesite used.

Graphite used in the manufacturer of magnesia carbon bricks shall be of flake type and having 94% or more fixed carbon. No harmful fillers or oxidants shall be used.

Use of Magnesite Bricks:

The magnesia carbon bricks are used for lining the sidewalls of the Electric Arc Furnace. These bricks are strong enough to withstand the impact of a big explosion or blast. These bricks are able to withstand the high thermo-mechanical stresses encountered in the operations of intense temperatures for a period of 6 working days continuously proving its relatively high resistance.

Being an electrical insulating material, its demand is huge and the manufactures do take care of quality so as to justify the strength and toughness of the bricks. These bricks are manufactured by several companies in India.

The leading manufacturers of these products not only supply them to their customers in India but also to the leading consumer countries like Turkey, Australia, Nigeria, Philippines, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
